Due to a major refurbishment and development programme taking place at the Mere in early 2012 we have moved the dates for the inaugural international art fair in the region to September 2012 to take advantage of the refurbishment. The launch of Art Cheshire, a vibrant and exciting new addition to the International Art Fairs calendar will bring 30 hand picked galleries selected for their quality, diversity and originality to the Mere Golf Resort & Spa for three full days of enthusiastic art buying.

This exclusive fair will be a joy for all art collectors and aficionados in the region with its abundance of prime, high quality artworks on view and for sale.

The emphasis on quality and individuality will be evident to all those who visit with all artworks being either original or from very low limited editions of sculptures and prints.

The fair will be a fantastic opportunity for people who have never visited an art gallery before showing that art collecting can be fun, enjoyable and hugely rewarding and not something to be intimidated by. The relaxed and informal atmosphere can also prove to be extremely educational for those who wish to expand their knowledge of art in general.

We are very excited about hosting Art Cheshire and look forward to establishing it as an event that the region can be proud of for many years to come.
